Un día para volar a Buenos Aires

Un día y estoy partiendo… familia, novia, amigos, empanadas, asfalto, colectivos, fiaca, noche…

Yasunori Mitsuda and James Horner

Yasunori Mitsuda is the author of my beloved Chrono Cross soundtrack.

James Horner is the hero of Aliens, Braveheart, and Titanic (second only to John Williams, reknown for Superman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park and others).

I’ve never actually listened to the Willow soundtrack, but according to this fellow over here, songs like Yasunori’s Another Termina were inspired by it. Mmm….

enfermando a bocanadas,
reviviendo a multitudes que la aman.

Como yo, que la aman
Como yo, que la extrañan,
Como yo, que no puedo irme,
muy lejos sin llorar.

Como yo, que la juzgan,
Como yo, que la niegan,
Como yo, que no puedo irme,
muy lejos sin llorar.

Abri los ojos y te vi,
La gente no escucha tu canto.
No comprende que algunas noches,
Te moris de soledad.

Un abismo, tabla de ajedrez,
En blanco y negro, Buenos Aires,
Me llevabas toda la risa,
y eras frágil como yo.

Como yo, que la amo
Como yo, que la extraño,
Como yo, que no puedo irme,
muy lejos sin llorar.

Como yo, que te juzgo,
Como yo, que te niego,
Como yo, que no puedo irme,
muy lejos sin llorar.

It is now easier to get into “author” mode from “preview” mode on your own space.  Just click “Customize” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, where “Preview my space” is usually shown.

So, know you know.

Read about Noam Chomsky in his website [http://www.chomsky.info/] or in WikiPedia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noam_Chomsky].

For everyone out there who thinks that they just smoke light cigarettes…

It had to be said: people who can’t decide which is better, Fushigi Yuugi or Sailor Moon, consider themselves less pathetic than people who attend anime conventions[http://www.midaregami.net/weblog/archives/images/japan-hierarchy.jpg].

Enjoy.

Spaces Updates

The new MSN Messenger shows an icon on the contact when his Spaces is updated.

Today I went down to the Seattle Art Museum (SAM for short), to watch The Corporation (http://www.thecorporation.com/), thanks to a kind invitation from Amnesty.

It’s a very good film in its own right, with the right pace and a variety of information being presented, and at the same time the subject matter itself is worth a lot.

In any case, go over the website, and follow the links as you wish…. I’ll be posting more on related topics in the future.
